The elimination process is a great way to think about what you EAT, Enjoy FOOD, and CHANGE your daily habits.

A few years back I was at work, and I noticed one of my coworker walking in to work with more pep in their step and baggy clothes. I had to know what they had changed. The change was they had read The Abascal Way, and that started a shift in the way they ate. They were focused on their health and how they felt. So they started eating differently, and the weight just fell off, and their energy was up. I was immediately intrigued to read this book.

The Abascal Way, Kathy Abascal

I was interested in only shedding 10 pounds, but I was interested in inflammation in the body, eliminating sugar and learning how it affects the body. I ordered my book immediately and took a few weeks to prepare my kitchen for the change. Which was necessary to get started. Book 1, provides excellent information about the body and foods we put in our body (the good and the bad). Book 2, contains recipes and a great list of foods approved to eat during this phase and example breakfast, lunch, and dinners.

The Elimination Phase:
1st week was torture to my mind and body
2nd week, got easier
3rd week, I was feeling great

Testing Phase:
Slowly reintroduce foods that were eliminated during this phase and monitored how your body reacts to these foods. Excellent, "Now I have changed the way I eat, and I am not turning back!"

Then I returned to my old ways slowly over time. Even though I try to be conscious of what I put in my body and on the dinner plate. Eating organic foods, grass-fed meats (less meat) and incorporating more grain I could still do better. Now, after having a baby, the scale went up a little more than I could deal with. So I decided this is the very book I need to revisit and get back on track.

Ok, so here I go...again. Let's go!!!
