I have lots of things I like to do while multi-tasking throughout the day, but sometimes you just want to do a mindless task and catch up on my favorite podcast.
Today, I want to share my favorite new project: Sashiko; and my favorite Podcast.

First off, for those who don't know what Sashiko is, it is a Japanese hand stitching, great for repairing worn/torn clothing or adding a decorative element to fabric or existing garments.

I purchased my first Sashiko sampler set from Snuggly Monkey. After getting the stitching technique down, I have started to create my own designs by drawing on tracing paper and transferring them to my fabrics.

Here is a fun design to practice your stitch.

While I settle on the couch for some stitching time I love to listen to different Podcasts.
