You are never too old to have fun, dance, dream, or accomplish the goals you had since you were in your 20's. I don't want to look back and say "I wish I had done that."

So here is one thing I am accomplishing this year: LEARNING HOW TO SWIM.
Yes, swim sounds crazy to some, but I just never got around to learning. Every year I would put it on my goals for the year and slowly the year would pass only, to make the goals the next year.

I have to admit it was scary in the beginning, I had to put trust in a total stranger and believe me I was praying non-stop.

Here are some things that helped me through my swimming lessons:

  1. Relax
  2. Come Equipped (goggles and swim cap)
Forget irritated eyes and hair in the face, one less thing to stress about.
  3. My Mantra "I am only in 4 feet… I can stand up."
  4. Practice
  5. Have Fun

Now that I have started to get the hang of swimming, it will surely become apart of my weekly workout, I hope to continue with the techniques I learned, practice my breathing and stroke. One thing is for sure, I will not be sitting on the side, only getting my feet wet this year at the pool.

Never too old to set another goal, so what are you going to do this year?
